Hi all
Can someone please tell me how, if it is possible, to change the background colour of 'ValidatorCallout' boxes. The site i am building has a black background and silver/grey text, but the text in the ValidatorCallout box can hardly be seen as it seems to inherits its colour from the page (silver/grey) but the background is 'LemonChiffon' or something similar.
Many thanks
Paul

This appears to be what i am looking for.
Question ? i have downloaded and un-zipped this. Now what do i do with it to make it work (how do i apply the patch).
Please excuse my ignorance but i am struggling to learn!
Thanks
Paul
I haven't downloaded it myself... isn't there an .exe in there somewhere? Or maybe a readme :)
Hi again
No the zip contains 4 files 3 are numbered 1 to 3 they have no extention and are 9K, 20K and 6K in size. The 4 file is caller PATCH and is 1K and an XML document. This i have double clicked and it opened in iexplorer but still didn,t help me. Below is the contens of patch.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
-<patch xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" changeset="26620" name="Esben Sundgaard" email="esben2000@.hotmail.com">
<description>This patch will add the property BackgroundColor and BorderColor to the ValidatorCallout control (taken from previously but not merge in patch). And fix problems with styles applied to tables/trs/tds/divs in stylesheet (eg background colors/borders/padding). Fixed by explicit setting border to none, background to transparent and padding to 0 where it is not needed.</description>

I've opened them as files in Visual Studio. Now what the heck am I supposed to do?
I think we need to download the toolkit on th ehomepage - these are patches for this particular flavor of AJAX I think... this particular patch is probably included in the latest release of the toolkit.
Sorry, really confused now
.
I thought I had already downloaded it as i am using the ajax extentions (in windows visual web developer express) and it merely needed patching which I don't know how to do.
Yeah, sorry but I can't download a third party toolkit in my environment. Maybe you should register on that forum and see if you can get someone to help you get started there. I thought it would be easier than that. If you want, put a new post in this forum with the same question and someone else with more AJAX knowledge can try to help you.
Thanks for all your effort, i really thought it would be something simple
Paul

Many, many thanks for your time and effort. I took your advice and registered with the forums on CodePlex, and contacted the author. He has now posted a compiled complete version for all to use. Also an updated version of the complete Ajax toolkit will be available soon.
Paul
Awesome!
